It is with great sadness that we advise members of the passing of PDSC Life Member, Bev Burt. "Auntie Bev" to many of us.

Bev was a proud and active member of PDSC for over 60 years, always supporting her family husband Tom and children Brad, Carolyn and Steve as well as the wider club community.

Throughout the decades, Bev gave so much of herself to PDSC. She supported Tom during his two terms as Commodore, served on the Ladies Committee, was a member of the PDSC ladies indoor cricket team, ran the canteen, acted as the club’s resident nurse whenever first aid was needed, and spent many years coordinating and selling club merchandise. Bev was also a familiar presence on the start boat Valiant, where she was a key part of race days and regattas for so long.

Bev’s generosity, dedication and ever-present smile touched generations of members. She watched many of us grow up at the club, always ready to lend a hand or share a kind word.

She will be deeply missed by all. PDSC extends our deepest sympathies to Tom, Carolyn, Steve, Denise and Jessie.

The PDSC reunion party in heaven just got bigger
