PDSC Successful Grant Application (CSRFF) - Female Changerooms Project

Published Tue 13 Jul 2021

Perth Dinghy Sailing Club is pleased to advise that we have been successful in obtaining a $30,909 CSRFF grant to upgrade the female change rooms and construction of accessible changeroom.

The Comunity Sports and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) is administered by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC).

The upgrade will see a total of 8 new shower cubicles be installed as replacements for the current 4 cubicles. The building works will also see an area set aside for a future unisex disabled toilet.

The female changeroom project will utilize the current museum area. The museum will be upgraded and relocated to the main hall which will allow our club's history to be showcased.

To keep the net cost to the club low, the project will be managed by the club and will utilise volunteer labour as much as possible. The target will be to complete the project by the end of the year.

PDSC Management Committee will be calling for member volunteers and trades to assist us with this project.

Further advice will be provided at the Annual General Meeting on 5th August 2021. Notice of AGM and Agenda to follow shortly

Our thanks to PDSC Committee Member David Horn for the preparation of the grant application.
