PDSC COVID Update - Double Vaccination Requirements

Published Wed 02 Feb 2022

Following the expansion of the WA Governments Proof of vaccination requirements, as of Monday 31st January 2022. PDSC is required to ensure Members and guests 16 years & over, provide proof of full Covid-19 (two doses) vaccination or a medical exemption to enter our clubrooms (all internal areas and club balcony)

Thank you also to the members who have already confirmed their vaccination status ahead of schedule at the bar. We are trying to record all our members and regular guests, so we don't need to continually ask, however, please be considerate if you are asked more than once. Our Flag Officers and Management Team may also perform spot checks on members & guests at any time.

This Saturday is our Life Members & Legends Day and we will have a number of guests attending. All invited guests have been advised of the double vaccination requirement and we will be checking guests on arrival.

Proof of full vaccination can be provided by showing a copy of the Covid-19 Digital Certificate in printed or electronic form. An AIR – Immunisation Medical exemption form will need to be accompanied by Photo ID. Any person who cannot provide valid proof of vaccination or exemption will be required to leave the clubrooms.

Acceptable forms of proof of full vaccination or medical exemption are outlined at:

Instructions on how to get proof of your vaccination status can be found at:

Please be patient and considerate to our Management Committee whilst we manage the WA Government COVID requirements. Our priority is to ensure the membership is kept safe, we avoid a large fine and we can keep the club operational until the end of the season. As you are aware, these restrictions have not been made by us and are subject to change at short notice in line with public health measures & requirements.

Mask wearing is still required inside the club unless exempt or eating/drinking.

We also ask that if you are feeling unwell or you have visited an exposure site, that you please do not attend the club. PDSC does have the right to refuse entry. We want to keep the club open for our members to enjoy, however, should we ourselves become an exposure site. PDSC may need to close, complete a deep clean of the club at our expense, and potentially all members that attended may need to isolate for 14 days. A risk we would rather avoid for all.

Whilst we understand these requirements may cause some delays and frustrations, we appreciate the patience of all Members and guests.

If anyone has any questions or concerns please come and speak to a Flag Officer

Kind Regards
Perth Dinghy Sailing Club Management Committee
